Privacy Policy
Overview
CoParentJournal is a private, solo-first recordkeeping app for custody schedules, co-parenting expenses, factual notes, receipt attachments, and exports. The app does not require an account.
Data Stored on Your Device
Child names, parenting plans, custody events, notes, locations, expenses, receipts, attachments, reminders, and generated reports are stored locally on your device. These records are not uploaded to Pure Insight servers unless you explicitly share or export them using iOS sharing features.
Analytics Data We Collect
We collect anonymous product interaction events, app version, build number, platform, and an anonymous install identifier to understand feature usage and improve the app. These events do not include child names, co-parent names, notes, journal text, locations, receipt contents, merchant names, provider names, attachment contents, or file names.
Crash Data
We use Sentry to collect crash reports and diagnostic information so we can find and fix app issues. Crash reports are not intended to include your private record content.
Remote Config, Attribution, and Subscription Signals
CoParentJournal uses a Pure Insight Cloudflare Worker for remote configuration, anonymous event intake, Apple Ads attribution measurement, and subscription signals. StoreKit product IDs, transaction identifiers, anonymous install IDs, and Apple Ads attribution response fields may be recorded to understand subscription and advertising performance. Payments are processed by Apple, and Pure Insight Technology Ltd does not receive your payment card information.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification APIs. Reminder content is not sent to our servers.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete locally stored app data from inside CoParentJournal settings, or by deleting the app from your device. Apple subscription records are managed by Apple.
Children's Privacy
CoParentJournal is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Child-related records remain local to the device unless the user chooses to export or share them.
